Noir ensoleillé

On the beach, enveloped by waves, sand, and sun, and a string of darkness tugs within. Where does the light begin and the darkness end? 'Noir ensoleillé' explores these questions, capturing the tension between light and shadow, joy and melancholy. This project was inspired by the passing of my mother.

This series emerged from a photography training at the Rencontres in Arles with Laura Bonnefous in August 2024. All photos were taken in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.
